| Pam and Jan are sisters, friends, business partners, and
roommates. We have been avid needleworkers for 35+ years and ADORE COLOR!
We started dyeing our own threads because, while we love the over-dyed look,
those on the market where just too muted for our taste plus we had to search
to find compatible shading. SO, we had the bright idea of creating a light,
medium and dark value for each "color family". We have so much
fun naming the threads - with a lot of help from friends - Anxious Alligator,
Fiendish Frogs, Kinky Khaki, Lucky Leprechaun, Seductive Sapphires, etc.
We have a list of possible names which will be used in the future. |
We dreamed for years of opening our own
needlework shop. In October 2000, our dream came true and we opened the
Someday Shop. In October 2006, we closed our brick and mortar shop
to have more time to concentrate on JAR Designs. However, we have the
same electic assortment of designs and fibers for our stitchers available
through our website..We hope you will enjoy strolling through our assortment
of designs and hopefully discover a new designer to enjoy. |
